If you’re an enemy of God (Rom 5:10; Col 1:21; James 4:4) until you put your faith in Jesus Christ (Acts 16:30-31), and Jesus taught to love and pray for our enemies (Matt 5:44; Luke 6:27): How much more does God love you, an unbeliever, his enemy, even if you reject him? It’s as the Bible says, “He first loved us” (1 John 4:19) and that’s the reason why we come to love Him.
God loves his enemies, “not willing that any should perish” (2 Peter 3:9), but that is not to mistake that He is on our side while we are still children of the Devil (Acts 13:10; John 8:44), and are yet to be born again. He’s a mighty “King above all gods” (Psalm 95:3) who preserves his people (2 Tim 4:18; Jude 1:1; Psalm 31:23) and will destroy his enemies in perfect judgement (Heb 10:26-27; Rev 20:14-15; Rev 21:8).
It sure is good to know that Jesus is given all authority over Heaven and Earth (Matt 28:18; John 3:35). And that same Jesus gave his own life for us; the greatest act of love (John 15:13). He took God’s wrath, in our place (Rom 3:24-26; Isaiah 53:4-6, 9-10), for all who believe (John 1:12-13).
Romans 5:10
“For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.”Colossians 1:21
“And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled”James 4:4
“Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.”Acts 16:30-31
“And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.”Matthew 5:44
“But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;”Luke 6:27
“But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you,”1 John 4:19
“We love him, because he first loved us.”2 Peter 3:9
“The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.”Acts 13:10
“And said, O full of all subtilty and all mischief, thou child of the devil, thou enemy of all righteousness, wilt thou not cease to pervert the right ways of the Lord?”John 8:44
“Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.”Psalm 95:3
“For the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods.”2 Timothy 4:18
“And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.”Jude 1
“Jude, the servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, to them that are sanctified by God the Father, and preserved in Jesus Christ, and called:”Psalm 31:23
“O love the Lord, all ye his saints: for the Lord preserveth the faithful, and plentifully rewardeth the proud doer.”Hebrews 10:26-27
“For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.“Revelation 20:14-15
“And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.”Revelation 21:8

“The Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things into his hand.”John 15:13
“Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.”Romans 3:24-26
“Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.”Isaiah 53:4-6, 9-10
“Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all…And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth. Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in his hand.“
John 1:12-13
“But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.”
